Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme 2025: Objective
Kanyashree Prakalp Scheme was launched for Female Students who have some financial problems in taking higher education. This scheme provides scholarship amounts to students from the age of 13 years. This amount is directly transferred to the applicant’s bank account.
Benefits/Scholarship Amount
Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme 2025 is further divided into 3 categories K1, K2, and K3. The scholarship amount varies per student’s age. Check the table below for more information:

Eligibility
Applicant students should fulfill the below Eligibility Criteria to apply for Kanyashree Prakalp Scheme 2025:
- The student must be a resident of West Bengal
- Only female students can apply for a scholarship
- Applicant’s Annual Family Income should be less than 1,20,000Rs. Per annum
- If the Applicant is at least 40% disabled, then the Family Income Criteria is not applicable for her
- The applicant should be admitted for higher education in a Government Institute/School/College/University
- The student must be unmarried
- For the Kanyashree Scheme K1 Scholarship, the student must be a minimum of age 13 years old and a Maximum of 17 years old. For K2, she must be 18 years old at least and at Maximum she can be 19 years old.
- For the Post-Graduation K3 Scholarship, the student should pass the previous examination with at least 45% marks
