Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must have to fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for this scholarship:
- Applicant Should be a Permanent resident of Maharashtra State
- He/She should be taking the higher education in Maharashtra State only
- If the applicant is from the Maharashtra-Karnataka state border, then he/she can also take benefit of this scholarship
- Applicant should have opted for one of the Director of Higher Education-approved courses from Government or government-aided college
- The student should have been admitted to the Economically Weaker Section category
- Annual Family Income should be less than 8 lakh rupees per annum
- No one in the applicant’s family should be a government officer or belong to politics
- Students should not apply for any other scholarship
- The students who have taken courses for part-time or distance learning can’t apply for this scholarship
