Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana 2024: Objective
In Odisha state, there are so many students who take education after completing 12th, but because of some financial problems they can’t afford it and drop out from college/institute. To stop it Government of Odisha launched the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana 2024. This Yojana helps students to take higher education without any tension of fees. It provides up to 20,000Rs./Annum Scholarship to students.

Eligibility
The applicant should fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for this yojana:
1. The applicant student should be a resident of Odisha State
2. Annual Family Income should be less than 1,20,000Rs./Annum (Or Less Than 10,000Rs./Month)
3. Students should belong to any one family category of the following:
- Living on Alms/Destitute
- HIV/AIDS Affected family (Any one member of the family)
- Households Without any shelter
- Manual Scavengers
- Legally released bonded labourers
- Students should belong to a particularly vulnerable tribal group
- Only Mother in the Family (No Father Because of Divorce/death)
4. Applicant student should have been admitted for further education in an institute recognized by the state government

- Domicile Certificate of Odisha State
