To stop it University Grants Commission launched the Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025. This scholarship provided up to 7,800Rs./Month scholarship amount to selected students.

Eligibility
To apply for the Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025, the applicant should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicant should be a resident of the North Eastern Region of India: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, and Nagaland
- Student’s Annual Family Income should be less than 4.5 Lakhs per annum
- Applicant should have passed the 12th Examination
- Candidate should be pursuing their courses from government-registered institutes
- Candidate shouldn’t pursue courses from any Open University
- Transgender Students can also take benefit of this Scholarship
- Applicants who are admitted to the Institute through the Management quota are not eligible for this scholarship
