Labour Card Scholarship 2025: The Labour Card Scholarship is for the benefit of Children of Construction Workers, launched by the Karnataka Government. Normally, Construction workers do not get much salary for their work, and because of this, the construction workers’ children suffer from educational loss. Labour Card Scholarship 2025: Objective

In India, the salary of a Labour or Construction worker or any worker is very low, Because of this the labourers can’t afford the fees of their children sometimes. So by understanding their financial condition government of Karnataka launched the Labour Card Scholarship for their children’s higher education.

Eligibility

To apply for the Labour Card Scholarship applicant should fulfil the following Criteria:

Applicants should be a residents of Karnataka state.
Applicant Student’s Father/Mother should be registered as a Construction worker by the labour welfare board, Government of Karnataka.
Applicant should also have the labour card of their parents which is issued by the labour welfare board, Government of Karnataka Only.
Applicants should have passed a recent previous examination if he/she belongs to the general category, 50% is the minimum, and for SC/ST category students, 45% marks is the minimum mark criteria.
The monthly family income must be less than 35,000 rs. Per month.

Benefits/Scholarship Amount

The Labour Card Scholarship offers different Scholarship Amounts in different classes as follows:

For 1st Standard to 4th Standard Students: 1,100 Rs. Per Year
For 5th Standard to 7th Standard Students: 1,250 Rs. Per Year
For 8th Standard to 10th Standard Students: 3,000 Rs. Per Year
For PUC/DIP/TCH/ITI Students: 4,000 Rs./Year
FOR Degree Students: 5,000 Rs./year
For Post Graduation Courses: 6000rs./Year
For Engineering Students: 10,000 Rs./Year
For Medical Students: 10,000 Rs./Year
For D.ED Students: 4,600 Rs./Year
For Ph.D. students: 11,000 Rs./Year

Provide all required information and log in again to the site.
After logging in you will see the Scholarship option, click on it.
